Brittany + Richard

How excited was I to get a message from Brittany about a session for her and Richard?  Ecstatic.  I met Brittany when I got to do an extended family session for Richards brother, and as small words would have it, I worked for their contracting company right out of high school before I headed to photography school!  I got about 5 minutes with them during that session and remember leaving thinking OMG, how much would I love to have those two back in front of the camera.    Dreams come true people lol.

Not only are these two babes (modern day Ken and Barbie!) and ridiculously easy to photograph, they are two of the sweetest people to hang out with.  So much of my time is usually spent directing poses, prompting moments and conversation – this was one of those times where I literally stood behind that camera and photographed their love.  Which I might add, is so genuinely beautiful.   She may or may not have the mad skills in front of the camera from her moment as Miss North Carolina USA in 2011 (pretty sweet, eh ;))!!!

These two share a love for the outdoors, hunting, their animals, and life in general.  Sadly, they couldn’t bring their human like cat, Allan – but perhaps one day I can photograph their family with that hilarious cat 😉   THANK you both from the bottom of my heart for allowing me to document your beautiful love before you head back to North Carolina for your big wedding ceremony next year (they had a tiny wedding ceremony in Canada already!), it was an honor – and seriously problematic choosing images for this blog …
