“We are the two most awkward people in front of the camera” … I hear this statement more often than I hear any other and it always makes me smile.  I like a challenge, if I didn’t, I surely wouldn’t be doing this!  It was my very first time meeting Dave and he is the peanut butter to her jam.  They are as real as it gets, they are honest and candid with each other and don’t take each other too seriously.   When I asked Dave what his favorite thing about Jesslynn was …. it was that she could cook, and clean ….and you know, keep a house together lol … her favorite thing was that he makes her laugh all the time.  It was true – he makes her laugh .. a lot.

So while I photographed her beautiful engagement ring, Dave re-built the once smoky fire and off we went.  Their kind eyed pup, Tika, joined as well as ALL of the cats in the area.  For anyone who knows me and my love for animal infused photo sessions … my heart was exploding.  Add a gorgeous farm yard, a warm wintery day and two love birds … well, it’s recipe for this.

I can’t wait to see you two next summer for your wedding!!!
