We got the most wintery wonderland during this session …. so. much. snow.
I wasn’t entirely sure how crazy it really was out there, so off I went. In my car (I was showing great intelligence that day!). I graded the roads the entire way there, and was pretty sure that I would be spending the night where ever it was that my journey would end in the piles of snow that were accumulating. I ended up making it .. shockingly!! AND HOME!
Of course, growing up on a beef farm, I love spending time on other people’s family farms .. and I especially love heading out to the cattle/horse – pretty much any type of animal – to photograph people amongst their livelihood. This family is kind and funny and I loved every moment spent with them. With the sweet invitation of coming in for a drink and snacks and sending me home with a full belly of cookies and a bag seated next to me of cookie dough .. it makes me so thankful and so grateful that I get to be a part of these amazing people’s lives for a small moment in time. THANK you Kelly, Dwayne and Dani for having me out.
