Vanessa + Scott || Lily Lake Resort, Alberta

This was the final hurrah for 2018 wedding season, and spending it with Scott and Vanessa was a perfect way to end my whirlwind of a season.  I met these two for their engagement session where we trudged through some pretty deep snow (because I can’t ever make things simple), and for their wedding day … the snow and cold made their appearance!  Scott perhaps suggested the next time we meet up for photos, we will pick a warmer season – like mid July 😉  Regardless of the bone chilling wind, snow and everything mother nature threw at them for their day .. these two embraced it.

I met up with the girls at Empire Salon in St. Albert where the magnificent talents of the girls at the salon manifested a jaw dropping set of hair do’s and Glam Artistry took the cake for yet another incredible set of faces.  Let me tell you, there are times that talents like these girls posses leave me quite literally standing there in awe as they do their thing.  I headed to the boys who had me in stitches at the cabins at Lily Lake Resort and then we proceeded to get these two married.

Despite turning purple (literally) and freezing their arses off during photos – not one of their bridal party made a peep.  They were their every step of the way, carrying umbrellas, shawls, and making sure their couple was taken care of – all the while, keeping the humour alive.  I can’t thank you two (and your family and friends who love you two DEARLY!) enough for including me in your happy beginning.  XO
